Orpheo is an amorphic musical ensemble lead by the practical mystic Vardatta. It was formed to present the productions of his ongoing Orpheus Project. Each work is a journey into the shamanic use of sound. The ‘Orphic’ voice can retrieve the soul from its ribcage dungeon.
Vardatta (Blessed Song of Praise) is a practical mystic who is only interested in what actually works on the personal journey out of the darkness of ignorance, back into the light of real awareness. He is the father of Vocate, the art of finding one’s voice, the implement of retrieving the soul. He is also the founder of the Orpheo and the Orpheus Project.
