Rowley Leigh s a British chef, restaurateur and acclaimed journalist and food writer. After working at Le Gavroche, Rowleigh was head chef at Kensington Place in Notting Hill for 19 years before running the Parisian-inspired restaurant, Cafe Anglais from 2008 to 2014. He has since worked as a chef consultant for Soho House Group and Conran’s Parabola Restaurant. His most recent book, A Long and Messy Business, won this year’s Guild of Food Writes General Cookbook Award – it is a distillation of Rowley Leigh’s forty years as both a professional chef and a home cook.
