Now in its sixth year, Curious is a festival like no other.
Taking place in the staggeringly beautiful setting of Pippingford Park in the Ashdown Forest, it is dreamy, eccentric, fun and ultimately, irresistible. With sweeping views across Southern England, the area is rich in history and cultural resonance, Henry VIII met Ann Boleyn at nearby King’s Landing and Pooh Bear’s 100 Acre wood can be seen from the festival grounds
It’s very English on the one hand – expect fabulous novelists, exceptional historians, poet laureates, dogs on leads, gin and tonics, and sitting on a deckchair with a view of the Downs although you are just as likely to find yourself on a secret midnight bat-walk, betting your life-savings on the snail-racing, happening upon a secret choral performance or listening to some of the UK’s most exciting musicians.
Taking place on the same weekend as the Byline Festival, Curious Arts ticket holders will have access to both extraordinary events at no extra cost and we hope you can join us!
