Benedict James Ltd (also referred to here as “we”, “our”, “us”) curates, produces and operates the Curious Arts Festival and is committed to maintaining the trust and privacy of our online visitors while protecting the information that we collect about them. Mailing lists

As part of the registration process for our monthly e-newsletter, we collect personal information. We use that information for a couple of reasons: to keep you informed about the Curious Arts Festival; to contact you if we need to obtain or provide additional information; to check our records are right and to check every now and again that you’re happy and satisfied. We don’t rent or trade email lists with other organisations and businesses – and never will.

We use a third-party provider, MailChimp, to deliver our newsletter. We gather statistics around email opening and clicks using industry standard technologies to help us monitor and improve our e-newsletter. For more information, please see MailChimp’s privacy notice. Ticketing data

When you purchase a ticket (or tickets) through our website your name, billing address and email will be stored securely in our Third Party booking platform, Eventbrite. You may, of course, purchase a ticket (or tickets) at the box office without supplying the aforementioned personal data. Please be assured that we do not share your personal details with any other party.

Children

We have no intention of collecting any personal data from individuals under the age of 13. Where appropriate, we will specifically instruct children not to submit such information. If we learn that a child under 13 has sent us personal information, we will delete it from our system. Parents should be aware that while our privacy policy will govern our use of personal data, any information which is voluntarily given by anyone (including children) on our site or on our social media feeds may be used by other parties to generate unsolicited communications.
