Rock and Soul singer, Freddie Stitz started playing the piano from the age of four. He spent most of his early years in Dublin, Liverpool and London; from where his musical path took many turns
The multi instrumentalist’s experience includes headlining venues and festivals in countless bands, collaborating, recording and producing in some well equipped studios and sharing stages across the globe alongside well known colleagues and masters like Trevor Horn,Youth,John Cornfield,Mike Crossey,The Mystery Jets,Razorlight,Joe Ely (Flatlanders), Anton Newcombe (Brian Jones Town Massacre), Rico Rodriguez (Skattelites, The Specials)
In almost 20 years of touring as vocalist, guitarist, slide-guitarist, bassist, double-bassist, pianist, violinist and percussionist, he got to spend time with known artists from Texas and this influence is to be heard in his music which tells tales of travels.
Always having managed to live from music he is currently touring with The Turbans, Gipsydelica, Smokey Angle Shades – not to mention his own project – and has recently built an analogue studio in Germany where he is now recording his debut album.
