Simon is well known to the British comedy-going public from TV, as a regular on BBC Radio 4, and with his very popular Twitter account @TheSimonEvans. The hugely successful, award-winning radio show Simon Evans Goes To Market returns this summer with a third series returning to Radio 4 where Simon is a regular guest on The News Quiz, The Unbelievable Truth, Armando Iannucci’s Charm Offensive and many more. He anchored and co-wrote seven series of the news satire The Way It Is. He has appeared on numerous TV shows including C4’s Stand Up For The Week, BBC’s Michael McIntyre’s Comedy Roadshow, Live At The Apollo, The Apprentice: You’re Fired! and Mock the Week. He is also a prolific writer for radio and TV, his credits include: Not Going Out (BBC1) and 8 Out Of 10 Cats (C4) amongst many others. He appeared on University Challenge: The Professionals in 2007 and won Celebrity Mastermind in 2012; his specialist subject was Ernest Shackleton.

Hugely popular at the Edinburgh festival, on his own live tours, in comedy clubs and on the after-dinner and corporate circuit, Evans excels in routines that are adult in the best sense of the word. “Demonically dry” (Dominic Maxwell, Metro). “Sublime” (William Cook, The Guardian).
