Learn to play Texas Hold’em like a pro with our Curious Arts Poker Masterclasses, hosted by a bevvy of professional poker players, writers and enthusiasts. Whether you’re an absolute beginner or a regular home-gamer who is looking to improve their skills at the baize, our masterclasses will teach you when to hold’em and when to fold’em, and instruct you on the nuances of one of the world’s most popular games.

The masterclasses will be held by two-time World Series of Poker bracelet winner Barny Boatman, author and journalist David Flusfeder, writer and presenter Grub Smith, professional poker player John Sugars and Natalie Galustian, editor of He Played For His Wife – short stories of long nights at the poker table (Simon & Schuster).

The masterclasses, each an hour long, will take place on Saturday in the Babylon tent at 11.30am and 6pm and will be followed by a late night No Limit Texas Hold’em poker tournament, which is open to all, at 11pm in the East End tent. Shuffle up and deal!
