Philippa Perry is a psychotherapist, writer and broadcaster. She wrote Couch Fiction a graphic novel that demystified the therapeutic process and, How To Stay Sane which applies psychotherapeutic principles to self-help. She is Red Magazine’s agony aunt and also made a series of short films for the Guardian called What’s Troubling You. Philippa has presented television for BBC Artsnight as well as fronting various documentaries including Being Bipolar (channel4), The Truth About Children Who Lie (BBCRadio4) and Sex, Lies and Love Bites: The Agony Aunt Story (BBC4). She is currently working on a new book about parents and a TV documentary about Surrealism. She likes going to parties and watching telly. In 2016 she was a regional finalist for Specsavers Spectacle Wearer of The Year.
