Polari Prize-shortlisted poet Max Wallis has been called the “future of poetry”. He is the author of Modern Love (flipped eye, 2011) and Everything Everything. He has received two Arts Council grants, one of which funded a research trip to live in polar darkness for a week in solitude. Formerly Harper’s Bazaar’s roaming poet in residence, Max’s poetry has focused on modelling, fashion, as well as love, intimacy and modern interpretations of sexuality. He is currently Grindr’s poet in residence, and is working with a top secret fashion brand.

As a model he has worked for Cerruti, Comme des Garçons, Burberry, Evian water and many more. His poetry has reached millions of people through collaborations with brands such as Mr Porter and Jack Wills. 2017 will see him become Grindr’s poet in residence as well as a performance at the Royal Opera House.

His focus is everything to do with millennial sexuality.
