Gil De Ray is a musician from Glasgow now based in London. He is frontman of the rock and roll band Pet Weapons. Of their recent single ‘Perfume’ BBC6 Music’s Lauren Levine said “GUITARS ARE BACK!…IT’’S LIKE THE FLAMING GROOVIES MEETS DEVO…WE NEED TO TALK ABOUT THIS…” Cold Lips magazine described them as “Johnny Thunders meets old school indie Primal Scream, via the balearics.” Previously they have supported John Cooper Clarke, and their debut album Riot Of Soundreceived Album of the Week at Rough Trade, and Single of the Day on Q, also getting play from Don Letts.
