Betsy de Lotbinière is a Londoner born in New York City. Her poems appear in Carpark magazine and in various anthologies including Oral, edited by Sarah-Jane Lovett. She has worked for the art circus and children’s charity, The House of Fairytales as well as the more adult artist’s consortium, Johnny Blueeyes’ House of Blueeyes. Performing at Glastonbury, Port Eliot, Voewood and Latitude. These adventures made it necessary for her to perfect the art of entering a small tent while sporting a tall beehive (backwards). Her essays can be found in This Is Not a Book About Gavin Turk. Her journalism can be sampled in Christie’s magazine. She is the creator of Lemniscate, a recondite quarterly publication conceived as a platform for deeper conversations.
